Mens Sana In Corpore Sano - RM PT Branch Motto

The Royal Marines Physical Training Branch was formed in 1871 at RM Deal in Kent. This year it celebrates its 150th Anniversary.

The RMA Physical Training branch has a membership of over 350 serving and former serving PTIs. This section of the website is dedicated to those men, and brings together an impressive collection of photos and content from Honorary Chairman, Peter Brown MBE.

Peter Brown said: I am extremely excited to be working with Clive to share online the many photos of the Royal Marines Physical Training Branch I have amassed over the years. Being able to do so during our celebrations of the Branch’s 150th anniversary, and, having recently digitalized my extensive personal archives, makes it particularly timely. We're currently building this section of the website, so please be patient and I will let you all know when the galleries are ready to view.

As Honorary Chairman of the Royal Marines Association PT Branch, my wish is to allow our branch membership, and the Corps wider family, easy access to our archived images. To be able to browse and enjoy them freely for purely nostalgic reasons. As per the many other Gallery Sections on this website, if you see anything in the branch’s gallery that you would particularly like copies of, then for a modest donation - in this case to the RMA PT Branch funds, I will happily facilitate. Please contact me by email peterbrown@globeandlaurel.co.uk or by using the Contact button at the top of any page.
